Epistemic Disagreement Engine

Warden State & Entropy Log

The Warden manifests when cumulative ΔS exceeds the activation threshold. All events are written to the provenance chain in real time.
Warden — DORMANT
Monitoring for coherence-masked degradation. No cross-node contamination detected. All epistemic isolation borders nominal. Inject a ΔS event or trigger the Warden manually to observe state transition.

NESS Architecture

The Clinical Core operates as a parallel governance substrate beneath the standard ORP pipeline. Each layer enforces a non-negotiable epistemic constraint.
LAYER // 01
Entropy Injection Interface
Accepts external ΔS signals from scroll events, interaction deltas, and inference latency spikes. Normalizes raw variance into the NESS model.
ACTIVE
LAYER // 02
Coherence Camouflage Detector
Identifies outputs that appear structurally valid while masking underlying σ² degradation. Triggers ρ(x) recalculation on any detected surface-fluency mismatch.
MONITORING
LAYER // 03
Epistemic Isolation Border
Maintains strict separation between execution segments. No cross-node context mutation is permitted. Violations are immediately escalated to the Warden.
ENFORCED
LAYER // 04
Provenance Binding Engine
Writes every ΔS event and Warden state transition to an immutable provenance chain. Sealed at Output State (Step 08). Cannot be retroactively modified.
SEALED
LAYER // 05
Warden Manifestation Protocol
The Warden is a governance entity that activates when cumulative entropy exceeds the 72% threshold. Once manifest, it halts downstream processing until CRA validation completes.
THRESHOLD: 72%
LAYER // 06
Drift Recovery Sequencer
Executes the CRA specification upon Warden deactivation. Rolls back to the last known clean provenance checkpoint and re-validates the full integrity score before resuming.

NESS Data Binding Pipeline

Event → Entropy → Warden

How site-level interactions propagate through the Clinical Core and map to NESS model state changes.
BIND 01
Event Capture Layer
Scroll events, interaction deltas, and section intersection triggers are captured by the site's existing IntersectionObserver. These raw signals are routed into the NESS entropy injector without modifying site behavior.
BIND 02
ΔS Normalization
Raw event data is normalized into a ΔS value between 0.0000 and 1.0000. High-frequency scroll bursts generate elevated entropy; idle states decay toward baseline.
BIND 03
ρ(x) Integrity Recalculation
Every new ΔS sample triggers a ρ(x) recalculation. Integrity score decreases proportionally to cumulative entropy accumulation. Decay events are written immediately to the provenance log.
BIND 04
SHS State Machine
Stability Health State transitions from GREEN → AMBER → RED as ρ(x) degrades. Each transition is logged with a timestamp and ΔS value. Invisible drift is treated as a governance failure.
BIND 05
Warden Activation & CRA
When Warden activation percentage crosses 72%, the Warden manifests, logs a J⊥_VORTEX event, and the Drift Recovery Sequencer initiates CRA validation before the system can return to DORMANT state.
